Would the interest be there for someone to piggy back Hartford"s show and take a chace to a second night?

Considering the Hartford show is a Saturday its not likely.  I don't foresee any of the Friday night tracks around here taking a chance on that.

Was looking more for what might fan interest and would they be willing to pay for 2 nights of USAC up here in Michigan.

From what I remember of the last time USAC was up here, we could not get fan support for one night. A couple tracks have tried them a few times, but I do not think either track ever made it more than two years. I just do not think the non wing deal is that big up here. Maybe MTS will have helped it some, and Hartford will see some results. I hope so, especially seeing Berlin putting it to them in September.

The problem with the last few usac shows up here is that they were always against other big shows or mid week between big shows. I thought the usac show are I96 years ago was good. I think the fans in Michigan would support a good usac show at the right track.

...and the past few have been on blacktop.

USAC seems to like Michigan in August.  Once again the USAC show is up against some big race in Iowa I was thinking about going back to this year :-)

Hartford is a little closer to the border, which might make it more attractive to some out of state fans.  Especially being a Saturday instead of a Friday and not having to burn vacation time to get there.
