I see Butler and the ASCoC have rescheduled the rain out for Sunday, September 4th.

That's the same night as the Vince Osman Memorial at Kokomo Speedway.

Great.

Their at attica the night before.  Most people having Monday off this could be a really good show.  Maybe some Ohio's boys will come up.

Oh, I know, OD.  9/4 was a good night for them to pick, seeing how it is Labor Day Weekend.  It's just........ DAMN!  Same night as another good one around these parts.  I'm complaining on one end, but realize I have no reason to complain.....

MTS is on the sched for that night, too.  Joe I runs a good series.

12 lbs in a 10 lbs bag is what we have.......

Spartan has a 50 lap sprint car race on Sept. 4th also. Looks like a popular day of sprint car racing in MI.

What are the chances someone might run during the afternoon that day?  A doubleheader on the same date could then occur for some lucky fans.

Thanks for that MTS info, Joe.  I did not mark that change on my schedules.

Its a great problem to have.  Berlin has AVSS Saturday that weekend and Crystal has SOD.  Throw in Winston on Friday an that's one heck of a weekend!

Roger was daring me to do the Berlin/Crystal double earlier this year.  I might have to try it that weekend. :-)

Just a note, the AVSS show at Dixie was canceled.

The sky is also blue, water is wet, and the grass is green.

This is posted on the Butler website:

************

Heavy downpours forced the Butler Speedway staff to postpone the All Star Circuit of Champions event until Sunday Sep 4th.  More info to come regarding the events on Sep 3rd and 4th. The rains forced the speedway to cancel for the 3rd straight week. The next event to hit the speedway will be August 27th with a full 4 in 1 program of Winged Sprints, UMP Modifieds, Sportsman and Street Stocks.

************

Makes you wonder if they are contemplating cancelling the 9/3 night (Saturday) due to ruinning 9/4 (Sunday) with the All Stars.

Their schedule page still says it's a go for 9/3.  But then again, their schedule page has nothing on it for 9/4.

I just read on Facebook Butler has canceled racing on Saturday Sept. 3, but you can camp if you wish. All Stars on the 4th.
