I'm going to hold my cards close to my vest and lay them down even closer this weekend.  Spartan Speedway's double feature Friday Night, Open Sprints at Butler Saturday, and Auto Value Super Sprints & USA Mods at South Bend Motor Speedway Sunday (racing at 5:00 p.m.).  I'll let you guys know how things are going there at the latter.  I haven't been to SBMS in about 15 years and it's pert near right down the road.

The interesting thing I noted about the AVSS race at SBMS Sunday is that they were originally asking $20 for tickets, but now have lowered that to $15.  I don't know if the owners were worried about the head count at the original price, but lowering the price a bit is definitely up MY alley!

All things are and have been dependent on the weather, Mr.&Mrs. Muclod are planning on Spartan this Friday. I think TJ is also making an appearance. Plan to hit Fremont Saturday for "Ohio Speedday". Ohio Speedweek weather this week has been pitiful with 4 rainouts so far this week.

I'm going to watch the Hoosier Rocket's return to pavement at Auto City, racing with the Must See Racing series.  I'm semi-retired as crew chief for the weekend....

Spartan for me today, racing (obviously). Then I'm thinking I'll be watching at Auto City Saturday, it's the track closest to my house and I haven't seen the ol' rocket on pavement in a long long time, definitely not since actually known him. Sunday I might point the big 2-wheeler towards South Bend and check that deal out, I bet it was 93 or so the last time I was there wrenching dad's modified. If it's not motorcycle weather I'm staying my ass home. Where are you gonna be sitting Mike?

As a fan by trade, I usually shoot for Turn 1.  I like everyone showing guts an jockeying for position on starts and re-starts.  Any yahoo can come out of Turn 4 onto the frontstretch.

Except at I-96 maybe.....

Speaking of which..... How does the weather look out that way, Bob?  It's been drizzling and wet all morning here in SW MI.  It is supposed to clear up here, but hopefully it won't all push over towards Spartan.

Mike, at 11:15 a.m. it's breezy, some clouds, but also some blue sky. I will go WAY out on a limb and say we should be ok. It will be cool, bring a warm jacket (and a purple hat)
