I see that SOD is going to continue to allow dish wings (i.e. not flat) this season.  The WoO and All Stars have gone to totally flat top wings over the past year, or so.

Q:  Are the pavement series (Xtreme, AVSS, HOSS) running flat or dish wings this year?

Just curious.

are they the only group using dish wings and if they are why ? so if you want to run with sod do you have to run a dish wing or is there a more of an advantage to it .

All ASCS National and Regional series, NRA and Ohsweken allow dish or flat wings. Most 360 groups have not mandated the flat wings due to the fact majority of teams already have 1-2 dish wings in their garage plus many 360 racers buy used equipment off 410 teams who are unloading their dish inventory. The only difference is with a dish wing you can not run a wicker and if you run a flat wing you can run a 1" wicker.
