Got word yesterday that the Warsaw fairgrounds are trying to reopen the racetrack.  Heard the only thing stopping it from happening is a couple of people to sign the original petition to shut down the track are still living on the lake.  The person I talked to sounded very optimistic that they would be able to get the track going again.

Not to rain on your parade, but I've lived in that area my whole life.  Every year this rumor resurfaces since they closed the track.  I'd love to see it reopen, but it's doubtful.

Hey Tom, There is going to be a race out there during fair week on July 13th (quarter midgets) and my 5 & 9 year olds will be running! The race will be put on by www.kqmc.org you never know maybe it will turn into something a little bigger next year? Hope to see alot of people come out and support this event, should be fun for the kids since we dont get to run on the dirt much!
