Not that I went, nor had the chance to go, but reading the article on the site here, I see the Biobased USA Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series (a long name) had 29 sprints show up at Salem for their opening round.

Good for them!

Just when we thought pavement sprints were falling off of the edge of the Earth, THIS shows up!  This is double the numbers that USAC brought to K-zoo last year.  These Biobased USA Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series (long name) are going to run K-zoo this year, too.  If they can keep it going, it might not be a bad ticket.

Wishing them the best.....

Looking forward to the race at Auto City on June 26th - twin 20's - which is a great format.   Also wondering what this means for AVSS - What kind of field can we expect at Toledo?  Hopefully several teams will choose to run both series.     And on the subject of Toledo - disappointed to see that they have switched from the ISMA supers to the Oswego/MSA supers.  Likely means that Perley and the other East Coast hot shoes won't be there

I'm planning on May 23rd for the Xtreme race at Winchester.
That weekend has a LOT of promise.  SOD at Gas City Friday Night, WoO at I-96 Speedway Saturday Night, and Winchester Sunday Afternoon.  I was leaning towards the ARCA Race at Toledo that Sunday, but I might give Winchester the nod.  It's been awhile since I've been there and it's such an entertaining place.

And besides, with the 2:00 p.m. start of the race there, if done correctly, I'll be headed back through Kokomo right about when their gates open up for that Sunday Night.
