NO RESPONSE?
Dosen't everyone that comes to race with your series have the right to know what kind of payout to expect no matter were they finish?

You know, if you REALLY want to know what the payouts are, I suggest you simply drop Double 0 Joe an E-Mail.  You can get his address off of the MTS website.  If you are really a driver, and don't like the payouts he is proposing, pick a different venue.

However, if you just want to draw him into an argument and promote this new ASCT Series for your own gain, then I suggest you keep posting here in vain.  Sooner or later, even a big sprint fan like myself won't pay anymore attention to you and these postings about how much money people are throwing around.

I like to see new possibilites for sprints, but I'm sorry.  This is getting a little out of hand.

Easy now, stevensville mike  I have seen some mts shows and like any group
they could stand to have more cars   asking what the payout is doesn,t sound
like trying to start and arguement ..  with the cost of traveling today. you would
like to know what you are running for Huh? wouldnt you?

Sure you would...but like Mike says, somebody can easily send an e-mail directly to the series with their question instead of posting it on here.

MTS PURSE QUESTIONS AND RUMORS
By the subject of this post I assumed that he wanted to answer questions and put rumors to bed about the purse here on this page.
a complete run down of the purse 1st thru 20th would put to bed all of the rumors about this series that I hear.

Brother Tom and brother Stagger have made some good points. But Stevensville Mike needs to read the thread a little closer. Nothing was said about the "other" group (as you called them) and I didn't read it like he was looking for an argument. It does sound like your a little upset at the "other" series for whatever reason. Joe doesn't seem to have a problem with them, atleast not in the open. Maybe it's you that is looking for the argument? So what if they pay better, you need to worry about your deal not the "other" guys.JMHO.

The racers who race for a purse that is unknown seem to be the same folks that complain about the cost of racing. Racing for little pay in Michigan ensures the SOD guys of never getting a raise in pay.  Any promoter that is asked for a larger purse or an extra date will simply hire a lower paying show if he believes they can bring a full field.   Obviously

My experience was that the teams yelling the loudest about the purse, were the first one that would be out racing tracks and series with lower purses.

I see "that other non-wing series" has posted there entire purse on a current posting. This is good information when trying to figure out were to race on a given weekend.
From the complete lack of response can we assume that he has posted the entire purse? Is the payout $800 to win $200 for all other positions?
I guess that this is the purse MTS wants teams to use when deciding were they want to race. And the rumors continue to grow!
